Oak Park Progressive Women
We educate, aggregate, and organize for women's action on progressive issues to aid those who are disenfranchised, marginalized, and at risk.
Values:
- We support racial justice, women's rights, LGBTQ freedoms, protections for those with disabilities, health care for all, immigrant safety, environmental action, religious tolerance, public education, prevention of gun violence, and the war on poverty.
- We encourage and support leadership on these issues both inside and outside of the political sphere.
- We believe democracy is a commitment that requires consistent participation by our members and our society, not just every four years.
- We believe, as we have since our inception, that we are Stronger Together.
